Warriors! 

Great job this morning pushing through the rain! Super proud of everyone sticking out the cooler temps and soggy weather. 

Tonight's meet is at Black Oak Swim Club, 1570 Ambridge Road. Please arrive no later than 5:30pm, our warmups will be promptly at 5:45pm. Although the weather looks a bit dodgy tonight, we are still on, and the meet won't be called for weather before 6:15pm. I will send out a mass text alert/email regarding changes, and updates during the meet as well. 

Just so everyone has the same information that I do, Here's the specific regulation regarding weather, direct from SSA:

"Dual meets will not be cancelled before 6:15pm. In the event lightning and/or thunder occur in the vicinity oft he host pool, a 20 minute delay (or the standard delay of the host pool) is required. The aggregate amount of delays should not exceed one hour for any one meet. SSA Representatives and coaches and/or club representatives shall determine whether a meet should be cancelled or suspended.

If weather or imminent circumstances deem it necessary to stop the meet, it is considered an officially completed dual meet after event #46 (or the last individual medley event). A cancelled or suspended meet may  be rescheduled if both teams agree. In the event that the meet cannot be rescheduled, the score of the meet will be exactly what it is after event #46 (or last individual medley event) and the team with the higher amount of points will be declared the winner of said meet."

Here's also a quick note from Black Oak's Rep for tonight:

"We are looking forward to a fun meet tonight! We will have a grill, bake sale and our concessions open. Cash and card can be used at the Grill and concession, bake sale is cash only. Warm ups for Woodhaven is 5:45pm. 

RUBBER DUCK HUNT Let your team know that we will be hiding rubber ducks around the pool area. If your swimmer finds one, they can bring it to the bake sale for a free treat! 

Coolers are allowed, just no glass please."

Soon as heat sheets are available I'll send another email with the digital attachment, but you all should see them in the app as soon as they're published too.
